Our New Church Home

I’ve been reformed for about 6 months, and when the time came, I was worried I might have a hard time finding a Church that teaches sovereign grace. My friend Tanner (one of the men God used to open my eyes to the doctrines of grace) told me about the Church he was attending in Palm City, called The Cross Church. It’s awesome.
The teaching is amazing. The Teaching Pastor, Steve Camp, does a great job each week preaching Christ and Him crucified. They use a lot of hymns in their worship, which is different than the churches I’ve been in and it’s refreshing. And overall they are just very concerned with sound doctrine and reaching the community with the gospel, in word and deed.
I’m very excited to see what kind of ministry work God might have in store for us.

I was going to Check it out tonight, actually. But decided to enjoy my fam, maybe next Tuesday.
I actually really love this Church in Palm City, I just threw a post up without finishing. I’m going to sing it’s praises, when I get a sec.

Are you talking about “the” Steve Camp? Awesome bro, I’m glad the you found a biblical church that is solid when it comes to doctrine. As I shared with you in our twitter convo, we are in the process of seeking out a solid church ourselves.
I’ll let you know how it goes, it seems as though it might be a little harder than I initially thought! Keep us in prayer if you remember us bro.

Yeah, THE Steve Camp. He’s a great preacher, and he leads worship too. We’re in a transition period, so he’s all over the place right now.
I know it seems scary to leave and tough to search for a new church, but the first time I talked to a pastor at The Cross about theology… I knew I made the right move. It’s awesome.
